Privacy and personal data
EINKTIME uses usernames for registration. This policy describes the information used to provide accounts, informers and connected screens.
Account and authentication
Registration uses a username and password. The database stores the username, password hash, recovery-code hash, internal account ID and acceptance of the terms. A recovery code is displayed only when issued and is replaced after use. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in plain text.
Optional profile
Users may optionally save a nickname, avatar and topic interests. Interests are not published. A nickname and avatar appear beside public widgets only when the user enables this setting. It can be disabled, fields cleared and the avatar removed. Information that directly or indirectly identifies a person may constitute personal data. A real name, contact details and sensitive information are not required. Uploaded avatar metadata is removed during image processing.
Screen settings and content
Screen dimensions, appearance, informer settings, source URLs and uploaded images are stored to create your screens. Local rendering and configuration export can cache source content.
Technical information and cookies
Hosting access logs may retain IP addresses, request time, requested URLs and browser information for operation and diagnostics. The service also uses security records and necessary session, language and optional remembered-login cookies.
Cloudflare and source providers
If you connect Cloudflare, the service stores account/Worker identifiers and encrypted authorisation tokens for deployment and updates. The Worker receives the screen configuration and required source credentials. Cloudflare and source providers process requests under their own terms. Source content and caches may be stored in your Worker.
Yandex Metrica
The website uses Yandex Metrica to analyse traffic and interface usability, including sign-in and account pages. The service may use cookies and process visits and actions on pages, including interaction recordings through Webvisor. Yandex processes this information. Sign-in, access recovery and account content is hidden from Webvisor recordings. E-reader display pages do not include the counter.
